Dear all,
My name is  Mónica Álvarez Digón, I have 3 children and I have lived in some challenging countries with twin baby girls  and a toddler. With them I had to face several critical moments including emergency medical evacuation by hospital plane.
After living so stressful moments with my own children I realized how importants prevention was,  specially in countries where health system is not what we would desire.
Expat families live in many different countries. I am sure, many of you also have several vaccination charts and every family member has health history has documents in many languages. Is our responsibility as parents  to assembly all the documents and try to do a structured health history for our kids and ourselves.

When we travel around the world, we start over and over every 2 or 4 years. We change country, house, schools, friends but not many people think that we also change doctors, health system and infrastructure. If we are healthy, it does not matter a lot, but if we have some health problems, then we realize how important would be to keep a record of all our data so that our new caregiver will have access in some minutes to all our health history. And as expats we have to add the language difficulties, not all the doctors are able to communicate properly in our language and this is an extra problem that we do not really want to face when we are already stressed by ilnesses in a foreign country.
One of my main worries was “who will be able to tell my kids health history if something happens also to me?” If we have a traffic accident, who will tell the doctors if someone has drug allergies, a severe heart condition or any other important issue? Those are basic things that can save a life by giving accurate information to a caregiver.
I looked around and I found just some books in one language thought for people that does have one single doctor their whole lifes. That is not our case. We travel, we move so I needed some special things, an expat family is different, their needs are different. So I decided to create the book I needed.
One book for the whole lifetime and different books for every family member. I created two different books, one for adults, with two different cover design choices and same interior; and one for children with  three different cover design same interior. For the children, I created a book with children parameters, so pediatricians and parents can really have a control on the children´s health.
Covers with efficacy emergencies and our health history control. Plenty of space to maintain updated and organized all our details to use it during our life.
All the book is written in English, Spanish and French. Every single word is translated so any person will be able to know the equivalent at the same time in three languages. It is the only health journal conceived from a multicultural vision born from the experience and proffesional knowledge. Its weight and size are ideal to take it always with us or in the car. Revised by health professionals. Once you get it you will be ready to have under control emergencies, allergies, treatments, medications, pathologies, hospitalizations, family history, vaccinations, regular and specialist checkups.
You will discover the multiple and practical visual resources designed by a professional interpreter speaking 7 languages to help you in stressful moments.
